Harvest Eatery and the Blind Boar

Like the marbling on their locally-raised Speckle Park beef, Harvest Eatery is unique. This award-winning restaurant was established by Chef Garrett “Rusty” and Kristy Thienes in 2013 with the mandate of showcasing Saskatchewan’s farmers, ranchers, growers, producers, and artisans, all while exemplifying what Saskatchewan ‘tastes like’ (with their own spin of course). With a warm, welcoming atmosphere that includes a ’theatre kitchen’ where guests can sit and interact with the Chef, Harvest is a destination - drawing foodies from all over the world for a spectacularly genuine dining experience. 
The menu focuses on ‘gourmet comfort food,’ spotlighting dishes like Brisket, Baby Back Ribs, a variety of cuts of Steak, and The Harvest Burger - named one of the 50 Best Burgers in the World in 2022. Chef Thienes also created an impeccable cocktail/mocktail/wine list designed to compliment his thoughtfully created dishes. 
Harvest Eatery seats tables Tues - Saturday from 4-9 p.m. and highly recommends reservations. Follow their facebook for special events (like live music), features (using seasonal ingredients), and snippets of their menu.
