Waters Edge Eco Lodge is a lakeside lodge nestled in the forest at the water's edge on Greig Lake, in Meadow Lake Provincial Park. Owned by Waterhen First Nation, this luxurious year-round accommodation features lakefront guest rooms and fantastic indoor and outdoor common areas for lounging and dining. The lodge operates in an environmentally sustainable manner with a focus on nature, the arts, gardening and wellness. Three self-contained lakefront rental cottages are available May to September. All guests receive complimentary use of canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, paddleboat and in the winter, snowshoes. Bring your own ice skates and cross-country skis to skate on Greig Lake in the winter or ski the winter wonderland trails of Meadow Lake Provincial Park.
An indoor events room and unique seasonal outdoor events venue are available for various private and public events, including music, the arts, wellness, culture, weddings, reunions and conferences. The indoor meeting space can accommodate 60-90 people and offers a bright and airy space on the second level of the lodge with a private deck overlooking the lake. The seasonal outdoor space can accommodate 80-120 people in a lakeside open-air stage with roof. This is an ideal location for retreats, parties, reunions, anniversaries, yoga and weddings. In-house catering may be available or outside catering can be used.
