Remai Modern is a museum of modern and contemporary art situated on the banks of the beautiful South Saskatchewan River, in the heart of Saskatoon. The museum spans four levels and includes numerous gallery spaces, a learning studio, a theatre, Art & Design Store, Hearth Restaurant, lounges, play areas and multi-use event spaces. The museum’s collecting focus is on art produced from around 1900 to the present and aims to strike an optimal balance between local, regional and global interests. They house over 8,000 artworks in a wide variety of media, including the world's most comprehensive collection of linocuts by Pablo Picasso.
