Prairie Bee is Saskatchewan's first craft meadery. Crafting honey into wine in small batches, every bottle has the personal touch and the Prairie Bee seal of approval. The fruits that are incorporated into Prairie Bee wines are all-Canadian, and many of them are estate-grown on their Saskatchewan farm! Prairie Bee products have finishes that range from sweet to dry, truly a treasure for every palate.
 
Check out the new showroom location at the historic Grant Hall Hotel in Moose Jaw for walk-in tastings. Private events and group tastings are also available.​

Prairie Bee Meadery - Bee to Bottle Winery Tour

Join Prairie Bee Meadery for a winery tour. This tour is available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May until mid-December (if the weather is bad the tour continues inside). The tour is approximately one hour and you'll be introduced to the amazing bees that create the honey that is crafted into wine. The tour includes some fun facts about life in the hive, some sobering information on the importance of pollinators, and some tips on how to encourage bee activity in your own home area.​

You’ll also learn a little about the history of mead, and its renaissance in the 21st century. They will also introduce you to the farm and winery operations of Prairie Bee Meadery that bring this marvellous libation to our modern palates. Discover their story, how they have grown from a simple hobby farm to Saskatchewan’s first and largest craft meadery. Best of all, sample our wines in a Prairie Bee tasting glass, yours to keep at the end of your tour. Then take advantage of the opportunity to take home some of our award-winning wines to enjoy at your own table, and share the experience with your friends and family.

During the Prairie Bee Meadery - Wine & Dine Experience @ The Grant Hall Hotel​, experience the elegance of the Grant Hall Hotel and take a guided tour to uncover the history of the local alcohol industry in Saskatchewan from the 1870s to today.

On your tour you will sample cocktails made from local craft alcohol, followed by shopping for your favourite products at Prairie Bee Meadery​. Then sit down in reserved seating for a dinner at the Little Chicago Steak House at The Grant Hall Hotel.

Tours start at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday or 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with dinner to follow.​​
