    Still standing on its original site in the Nutana neighbour of Saskatoon, the Marr Residence is the oldest home accessible to the public in the city. This simple two-storey frame house was built in 1884 by Alexander (Sandy) Marr and earned a special place in Canada's history in 1885 when it served as a field hospital during the Northwest Resistance.

    The Marr house and garden are open for programs, workshops, planned activities and tours throughout the year. For more information call or visit the website.
