The Marr Residence National Historic Site
326 - 11th St E. One block from South Saskatchewan River in Nutana area.
Still standing on its original site in the Nutana neighbourhood of Saskatoon, the Marr Residence is the oldest home accessible to the public in the city. This simple two-storey frame house was built in 1884 by Alexander (Sandy) Marr and earned a special place in Canada's history in 1885 when it served as a field hospital during the Northwest Resistance.
