The 430 seat, beautifully restored "Capitol" theatre is over 100 years old and boasts original mouldings and decor, preserved and reinstalled during the major renovation of 2003. Patrons and performers alike are transported back in time to enjoy music, comedy, theatre, film and community events in this heritage building. The facility also hosts space for resident artists and has meeting rooms and spaces for public rental and use.
Located within the Cultural Centre is the Visual Arts Centre where the Mosaic Gallery features new exhibits every four to six weeks, and showcases the work of visual and fine craft artists from Moose Jaw and surrounding area. Wide varieties of mediums are represented in these exhibits and guests are welcome to tour the gallery and the theatre anytime during Box Office hours.
