One of many Dark Sky Preserves in Canada, the Grasslands National Park Dark Sky Preserve is one of the largest and darkest in the world covering 527 sq km. Experience a remarkably dark star-filled sky and night time wildlife undisturbed by light pollution. Two Trees Trail, Frenchman Valley Campground and Rock Creek Campground are excellent, car-accessible stargazing locations. Ask park staff about the Annual Star Parties that occur in the East and West Blocks. Follow the park on twitter #GrasslandsNP.
