The Tourism Moose Jaw Visitor Centre was built in 2003, fashioned after the famous Temple Gardens Dance Hall from the 1920s. It is recognized as one of the most unique visitor centres in Canada! The Centre's staff provide travel counselling to tourists who stop at the Visitor Centre. They also help guests plan and extend their stays in Moose Jaw by email, phone, mail and through social media. The onsite gift shop is stocked with a wide array of souvenirs including bunny hugs, T-shirts, teddy bears, local snacks and books as well as a display of Moose Jaw’s most iconic buildings.

The Centre is home to Mac the Moose, the world’s tallest moose and one of Canada’s most Googled and photographed roadside attractions. No trip to Saskatchewan is complete without a selfie with Mac! Built1984, Mac briefly lost the title of World’s Tallest Moose to another statue in Stor Elvdal, Norway; but Moose Jaw banded together and helped Mac regain his title with a brand new set of antlers and a fresh paint job in October 2019. A CT-114 Tutor Jet, painted the colours of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, Canada’s premiere aerobatic team, joined Mac in 2009.

The Tourism Moose Jaw Visitor Centre is also the starting point for the tours offered by the Moose Jaw Trolley Company, and where visitors can found information on the Historic Downtown Tours and the Historic Cemetery Tours. Free overnight parking is offered through harvesthost.com.
