Saskatoon's Optimist Hill, located within Diefenbaker Park, offers a full range of outdoor recreational activities. Currently, tubing​, downhill skiing and snowboarding are offered during winter. The Lifestyle Centre acts as a central hub featuring warm-up space, snowboard and downhill ski equipment rentals.​ Downhill ski and snowboard lessons are available. 

Winter activities at the Optimist Hill aren’t the only fun that can be found within Diefenbaker Park. Residents and visitors alike can enjoy the 18-hole disc-golf course, picnic area and walking trails.​
