​​Hosted by Friends of the Saskatoon Afforestation Areas Inc, in partnership with Eagle Ridge Sled Dog Kennel and Battle River Kennel, you are invited to an afternoon of dog-sledding fun in the winter wonderland of the Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Area near Saskatoon. Immerse yourself in the rich heritage and exhilarating world of dog sledding. The adventure kicks with an introduction to the Afforestation Area, delving into its history and the deep roots of dog sledding in First Nation and Métis heritage. Encounter the incredible dogs of Battle River Kennel and Eagle Ridge Sled Dog Kennel, and hear their captivating stories and witness the passion they bring to this great sport. Each ride lasts approximately 10 minutes. Event time 1:30-4:30 p.m. Meet-up location​ at parking lot P2 in the South West Off Leash Recreation Area, Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Area.
