Weaver Heritage Park

4515 - 44th St, Lloydminster.

As one of Lloydminster’s oldest greenspaces, Weaver Heritage Park is home to a variety of leisure and recreational opportunities, and features the following displays:

  • Rendell House, celebrated as the first timber framed residence in Lloydminster. It was built in 1903 by Barr Colonists Alice and William Rendell, and was moved to the museum in the late 1980s. Guided tours available upon request.
  • The Barr Colony Heritage Society Showroom, displaying restoration projects by the museum’s dedicated volunteer group.The Implements Shed, featuring working antique farm equipment and vehicles from the museum’s heritage collection.
  • The Log Cabin, rehabilitated as a semi-outdoor classroom by the Richard Larsen Barr Colony Foundation. It allows the museum to host seasonal programming and school field trips.

Note that many outdoor buildings are closed to the public.
