​Located on the Poundmaker Cree Nation, the Chief Poundmaker Museum and Gallery is dedicated to the history of the Poundmaker Cree Nation, and also to the events of 1885 which led to the Battle of Poundmaker on May 2, 1885. The museum seeks to relate, orally and with documentation, the history of this Indigenous community and other related events and communities, as well as to celebrate Indigenous culture.​ In development - a small library and archives, as well as an art gallery with permanent and temporary exhibits.​
