Beaver City Tours
Enjoy a guided tour of the once-famous Beaver City, Saskatchewan’s first and only 1913 era gold rush community which has long been abandoned on the shore of Amisk (Beaver) Lake. Learn the history of this fascinating place and see remnants of what once was a thriving centre, established to service the hundreds of gold seekers who came to Amisk (Beaver) Lake over a century ago. Your tour guide, Les Oystryk, a local historian, has explored the site of this abandoned community extensively and looks forward to offering this three-hour guided tour to groups of six to eight participants. Phone or visit Facebook for tour schedule; pre-booking required to ensure space availability.
