Buffalo Pound Eco Lodge

Buffalo Pound Eco Lodge offers eco-friendly tipi cabins designed for grounding and relaxation in the heart of Buffalo Pound Provincial Park. Guests can connect with nature through Indigenous cultural experiences, self-guided medicine walks and a variety of water activities. Each stay includes smudging and bannock kits, encouraging a deeper connection to the land and self. Take advantage of free access to canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) to see Buffalo Pound Lake and mountain bikes to explore park trails.
Five tipi cabins are available for booking, including one pet-friendly cabin and one fully accessible cabin for guests with mobility needs. Each includes a private bathroom featuring a shower, sink, and eco-friendly incinerator toilet. Prepare meals in your fully equipped outdoor kitchenette and dine comfortably in your private, screened-in dining area. Your stay also includes access to your exclusive fire pit for evening conversations, storytelling, and stargazing.
