Heritage Outfitting

Heritage Outfitting offers guided horseback riding, overnight ranch stays and dark-sky experiences in a remote mixed-grass prairie landscape between Val Marie and Mankota, just beyond the West Block of Grasslands National Park. Visitors can explore the cultural and ranching history of the area from horseback while taking in sweeping views of the continental divide, native prairie, wildlife and coulees. Overnight options include a cosy bunkhouse as well as RV and tent camping sites, with access to the Sky HI viewing platform beneath some of Canada's darkest night skies. Visitors can experience life on the prairie through horseback adventures, ranch-based activities, overnight escapes and immersive opportunities to connect with the landscape by day and the stars by night.
