    At North Battlefords' Western Development Museum, visitors step back in time and experience the story of Saskatchewan farm and rural life. Indoor displays include the 100 Years of Saskatchewan History exhibit a look at one hundred years of life in Saskatchewan, vintage vehicles, an eclectic collection of horse-drawn and mechanized transportation as well as rare 19th century Canadian-built steam portable engines. On 100 acres, the outdoor site (seasonal) features a village with more than 30 homes, a grain elevator and businesses representing the boom years of the 1920s. Gift shop, picnic tables and ample free parking are on site.
