Western Development Museum - North Battleford

At North Battleford's Western Development Museum, visitors step back in time and experience the story of Saskatchewan farm and rural life. Indoor displays include the 100 Years of Saskatchewan History exhibit a look at one hundred years of life in Saskatchewan, vintage vehicles, an eclectic collection of horse-drawn and mechanized transportation as well as rare 19th century Canadian-built steam portable engines. The 100 acre (seasonal) outdoor site features a village with more than 30 homes, a grain elevator and businesses representing the boom years of the 1920s. Enjoy the gift shop, picnic tables and ample free parking at their location conveniently located along Highway 16/Yellowhead Highway.
