The Western Development Museum - Moose Jaw highlights the modes of transportation that changed the face of the prairies. Automobiles, rail, vintage aircraft – this museum has it all! The aviation exhibits include a dedicated Snowbirds aerobatic team display. During the summer, hop aboard the K+S Potash Canada Short Line 101, and experience the only operating steam locomotive in Saskatchewan as it chugs along the 400 m track. Note that operation of the steam locomotive is subject to weather conditions, always call in advance to check on availability. Enjoy the gift shop, picnic tables and ample free parking at their location conveniently located adjacent to Highway 1.

Check out the Western Development Museum's collection of special online features about interesting and unique artifacts, projects and museum happenings.
