    ​​Located in Sceptre, the Great Sandhills Museum is dedicated to collecting, portraying and preserving both the natural history and settler heritage of the "Great Sand Hills" area for the benefit of local residents and visitors to the area through natural history artifacts, maps and documents.

    During the off-season stop at the village office in Sceptre Monday to Friday 8 a.m - 12 noon and 1 - 4 p.m. for more information and for a map to the dunes.
