Big Muddy Badlands Full-Day Tour departs the Coronach Visitor Centre at 9:30 a.m., winding through the Big Muddy Badlands spectacular scenery to Castle Butte, then on to Big Beaver. Your tour guide will join you in your vehicle and direct the trip. Explore the Big Muddy Nature Centre and Museum. Lunch (supplied by yourself or pre-ordered from the Rustic Tavern in Coronach) is at the Heritage School House in Big Beaver. After lunch, your tour guide will direct you to the outlaw caves! Discover why the Big Muddy Valley was known as Station #1 on Butch Cassidy’s Outlaw Trail. The caves were once used as hideouts for famous outlaws, such as, Sam Kelly and Dutch Henry. The day's adventures wind down with stops at sacred Indigenous sites including two effigies and a ceremonial circle.

Take this half-day guided tour through the scenic rolling hills of the Big Muddy Badlands to visit Castle Butte, Big Beaver Nature Centre and Canada's only Buffalo Effigy. Your tour guide will join you in your vehicle and direct the trip. The 4-hour tour departs from the Coronach Visitor Centre, Monday to Friday at 9 a.m.
