The Swift Current Museum & Visitor Centre showcases permanent exhibits that explore the relationship between human activities and the environment in southwest Saskatchewan since the post-glacial period. Highlights include a 72 million-year-old Tylosaur, making it a hit with both children and families. The venue also features temporary exhibits, archives, a gift shop, and a tourist information centre. Visitors can enjoy Stories of Saskatchewan's Southwest through videos available online.
Seasonally, the museum provides free guided walking tours of Swift Current's historic downtown and cemetery, details of which can be booked online. These tours cover notable sites like the Lyric Theatre and the Imperial Hotel, the city’s oldest commercial building.
