Situated in the legendary Qu'Appelle Valley between Echo and Pasqua Lakes, Echo Valley Provincial Park offers scenic surroundings and numerous recreational opportunities. With two beaches and access to two lakes, this park is a great destination for the fishing and water enthusiast. Lush lawns, playground, change rooms and barbecues make the beach area a great place to spend your summer days. Interpretive programming and a three-kilometre nature trail allow visitors to explore and learn more about this beautiful area. For that perfect getaway with minimal effort and preparation, three Camp-Easy sites are available for booking. New attraction for winter 2020 - a newly developed ice skating trail.

Start your morning off with a paddle on the beautiful Echo Lake. The park will provide the canoes, life jackets, and safety equipment. All padding programs will be subject to favorable weather conditions.

I Surivived: Sask Parks

Put your skills to the test and have some fun as you complete this hands-on program series. Complete all six Survival Series I Survived modules in one activity packed day!

In the Basics, learn how to stay safe in outdoors and be prepared with the necessary safety supplies for any activity.

In Fire Starting, explore the history of fire, its importance today and how to build a safe and successful fire using a variety of unusual techniques.

In Navigation, use orienteering compasses, maps and GPS units through hands on games and activities.

In Plant ID, learn about native edible and medicinal plants found in Saskatchewan.

In Shelters, build an emergency shelter for protection if you are unexpectedly delayed on a trail or to protect yourself from inclement weather using available materials, basic knots and simple supplies.

In the Wild, identify animals in the park through their appearance and the evidence they leave behind. Learn to respect wildlife to keep parks safe for humans and wildlife.

Complete 3 or 6 modules to earn your survival swag!

​Saskatchewan Parks are home to many hiking trails.  Take the time to attend a guided hike and explore one of these trails along with a park interpreter.  Be sure to wear suitable footwear and appropriate clothing for the weather.  Dressing in layers is always a great idea.  Back pack the essentials will include, but are not limited to; water, bug spray, sunscreen, snack, whistle, communication device and a small first aid kit.

Sponsored by Western Cycle  Echo Lake Multisport Festival​ will offer Sprint (with both draft legal and Non-draft legal races), Standard (aka Olympic), as well as Aquathlon​, Sprint Duathlon and Standard Duathlon distances for male and female athletes, with teams being accepted as well. A Kids Splash & Sprint will be offered again this year following the adult race. Some events offer qualifying spots for world championship events.
