Located just a short drive from Saskatoon, surrounded by rolling hills and coulees, Blackstrap Provincial Park has a stunning beach, scenic trails, and easy access to Blackstrap Reservoir, also known as Blackstrap Lake. The park's namesake Blackstrap Mountain rises 45 metres above the surrounding area, making it a rare geological formation on the prairies. The park is the perfect place to enjoy a wide range of summer activities including swimming, camping and fishing. The park’s east side boat launch makes the lake ideal for water activities such as water-skiing, canoeing and windsurfing. A main beach with inviting sand and ample grass areas offers a perfect place for games and sun tanning. For that perfect getaway with less effort, two Camp-Easy yurts are available for booking. In winter, bring a fat bike and test your skills on the trails or take a more laid-back approach and stay at one of the four-season glamping domes at the Blackstrap Glamping Resort.
