Duck Mountain Provincial Park is loved for its rolling hills, well-stocked lakes and boreal forest setting. With accommodations ranging from wilderness camping to electric campsites and a lodge with modern cabins and townhouses, Duck Mountain offers in-park accommodation for every season.

This family-friendly park offers a wide-range of recreational opportunities. Fish for pike, walleye or perch in spring-fed Madge Lake, or try one of the various other lakes found in and around the park. Bike a section of the Trans Canada Trail (The Great Trail) or sample one of the other self-guided or interpretive trails. Check out the nearby National Doukhobor Heritage Village site at Veregin.

In Shelters, you will learn how to build an emergancy shelter for protection in case you are ever unexpectedly delayed on a trail or to protect from inclement weather using available materials, basic knots and simple supplies.

The Madge Lake Walleye Cup (MLWC), held on Madge Lake in the Duck Mountain Provincial Park, is the ninth stop on the Central Walleye Trail’s  CWT) annual Trail To The Top, and the last tournament of the 2020 Sask​ Slam. It all comes down to Madge Lake and its incredible walleye fishery! Like other one day fishing competitions, the MLWC is the perfect choice for anglers just starting out in tournament fishing as well as more seasoned pros that want to introduce their families to what they do, which means that the competition stress is dialed down and the fun factor is dialed way up! Anglers can register through website or Facebook.
