Fort Battleford was established in 1876 and presided over some of the most pivotal events in the history of Western Canada. Discover the stories of settlers and the Indigenous people who lived beyond the fort's walls, and explore the five original buildings, stockade, bastion and barracks to see what life was like for the men of the North West Mounted Police (NWMP) who made their home there during the 1800s.
