Saltcoats is located along the shore of Anderson Lake approximately 20 minutes southeast of Yorkton. The  community's many parks and flower gardens offer visitors the chance to enjoy the beautiful flower and plant arrangements, stroll along the walking trails or just relax and soak up the sun on one of the benches.  A variety of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and local attractions provide visitors of all ages with year-round fun.
