Gronlid
Central - Gronlid - Hwys 6, 335
Located approximately 32 km north of Melfort, at the junction of Hwys 6 and 335, is the small hamlet of Gronlid. The community is named after Pastor H. O. Gronlid, who established the Beaver Creek Lutheran congregation in the district in 1912.
A short drive north of the community is the Wapiti Valley Regional Park which offers year-round recreation including camping, fishing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing.
