Melfort & District Trailriders Snowmobile Trails

The Melfort & District Trailriders maintain groomed sledding trails over prairie, rolling hills and forested terrain. The figure eight-style formation affords riders the choice of traversing the entire 230 km of trail or selecting shorter loops of about 100 km. Trail continues with Nipawin trail at Pontrilas northeast of Ridgedale. Three warm-up shelters can be found along the trails. Two new trails from Melfot to St. Brieux and Tisdale to open in 2021.

Trails are open continuously, however snowmobile operations are restricted by by-laws of various urban communities. Snowmobiles must be licensed. Trail maps available through dealers, Melfort Agencies / Melfort Western Financial Group and also online at www.sasksnow.com.
