Located in the small, rural community of Simmie, Valhalla Outfitting, Lodge Accommodations and Mi Hijo’s Tavern offers year-round fishing excursions at nearby Reid Lake. This lake boasts some of the best walleye, northern pike and perch fishing in southwest Saskatchewan. Mi Hijo's Tavern offers daily drink specials and pub style food. The general store is stocked with groceries, fish bait, hunting and fishing gear, clothing and more.The newly built lodge features accommodations, a tavern and general store. The six spacious guest rooms each feature a king-size bed, bar fridge and flat screen TV. A large full-service kitchen and dining room, two large bathrooms and a great room with reclining couches, overstuffed chairs and big screen TV are also located in the lodge. The entire lodge or individual guest rooms can be booked to accommodate your specific needs.
