Pemiska Tourism

Beardy's & Okemasis Cree Nation, W of Duck Lake on Hwy 212. Pêmiska Lodges are located at Fort Carlton Provincial Park, 45 minutes N of Saskatoon .

Pêmiska is a Cree word meaning "come find it". Pêmiska invites visitors to explore the rich culture and history of the Beardy's & Okemasis' Cree Nation. Experience a range of activities including glamping at Fort Carlton Provincial Historic Park, in tipi lodges each equipped with amenities such as air conditioning and smart TVs, learning the art of bannock making, and engaging in Indigenous dancing and music. 

Pêmiska Tourism provides educational and experiential opportunities like Treaty education and cultural dinner theatre. For the adventurous, Pêmiska offers adventure outfitting, ATVs, canoes, kayaks, fat tire bikes, and winter essentials such as snowshoes and skis so you can explore the Trans Canada Trail. You can also join a canoe/kayak day tour along the North Saskatchewan River.
