Heritage Outfitting - HI Horse Adventures

Trail rides offered on ranch land between Val Marie and Mankota, outside the fringes of Grasslands National Park - West Block. Access to corrals via Hwy 18; turn off is located around 34 km from Mankota or 47 km from Val Marie. From Hwy 18, turn south on the gravel road at the Heritage Outfitting - HI Horse Adventures sign. Take gravel road for 7.25 km to base corrals.
Part of Heritage Outfitting, HI Horse Adventures provides informative, memorable and authentic horseback riding experiences in an expansive ranching area between Val Marie and Mankota, just outside the fringes of Grasslands National Park - West Block. Explore the cultural history of the grasslands area with special attention to the living legacy of the ranching way of life. Riding on horseback provides the perfect way to enjoy the solitude of this remote range land on the continental divide, with amazing views showcasing the area's plants and wildlife, the wide open plain and diversity of the mixed-grass prairie. Riding adventures are two hours in length, longer rides may be arranged for an additional fee. Overnight stays are also available at Heritage Outfitting's HI Bunk Accommodations. HI Horse Adventures operates from May through October (weather dependent).
