St. Victor Petroglyphs Provincial Park is home to over 300 mysterious carvings, dating from 500 to 1700 A.D. These enigmatic carvings offer insights into the lives of Indigenous peoples who considered this site significant. Unique for being the only horizontally carved petroglyphs on the Canadian Plains, visitors can view them from a designated lookout point, especially during morning or sunset for clearer visibility. Interpretive panels and reproductions enhance the visitor experience, alongside available picnic areas. Access to the cliff edge is restricted to preserve the glyphs and ensure safety.
