Art galleries tell the rich story of Saskatchewan's distinct cultural identity from the perspective of the people who inhabit this territory. There are two major art institutions in the province - the Remai Modern in Saskatoon and the MacKenzie Art Gallery in Regina that host local as well as national and international exhibitions, while galleries in smaller centres tell the Saskatchewan story from a local perspective.
